Sooma’s sets explore a driving variant of Deep House - percussive, tribal and inextricably linked to a childhood spent listening to her father’s record collection, which paired George Clinton with St. Germain and original Madagascan music. She lifts from her own experiences on the dance floor to generate an energetic, focused rapport with her audience.
