Dream exploration ceremony with Sáparan elder Manari Ushigua
From the age of 5, Manari Ushigua’s father trained him to provide healing through dreams and dream interpretation. Manari will lead a dream empowerment practice and a tobacco cleansing meditation using mapacho, a ceremonial Ecuadorian jungle tobacco. Manari will also discuss the Sápara tribe’s relationship to and understanding of dreams, how to use them for guidance and strength, and how the Sápara utilize traditional plant medicines for integrated healing.
