Amidst the marches, petitions, chants and senator calling, our most powerful tool remains the unbreakable spirit and celebration of shared humanity. Favianna Rodriguez uses visual art to reclaim her humanity and rewrite narratives around pleasure, migration, gender justice and climate change. Movement artists Jon Boogz and Lil Buck of MAI use the universal language of dance to battle forces like mass incarceration and police brutality. In a conversation hosted by ARTNOIR founder Nadia Nascimento, artists Rodriguez, Boogz, and Buck will explore the joy of the creative process and the rebellious power of art.
