Go with the flow - the Vedic approach to meditation
We live in a world that prizes critical thinking and effort. Yet the best experiences often happen when we’re barely thinking, in the flow of the present moment. Join Vedic Meditation master James Brown for a workshop in which you’ll discover the forces that prevent us from being present and learn some practical meditation techniques to engage your mind’s natural ability to settle on its own.
Making decisions meditation: Ending analysis paralysis
James Brown leads a workshop that explores the reasons we get stuck, and teaches participants how to employ a simple, natural approach to meditation to get beyond analysis paralysis.
Morning meditation with James Brown
This is a chance to start the day by grounding yourself in something deeper than your day’s agenda. This session encourages all forms of silent meditation. If you don’t yet have a practice, or wish to try a different approach, James will provide a brief instruction in the Vedic approach to meditation which allows the mind to settle. The first half of the program will be spent in practice, after which you may leave or stay for a bit of wisdom sharing and discussion regarding the day’s theme.
