Camera obscura room activation

In this large, darkened room with a small opening to the outside, an upside down view of the world is projected on opposite walls. A surreal collage revealed through natural optical effects. Aristotle first referred to the effect found in this room in 300 BC. Artist Abe Morell photographs interiors to juxtapose suffocative indoor environments with the expansive, otherworldly projections of the outside.
